Trim the ends of the chamnamul stems and remove any wilted leaves.
Fill a bowl with cold water and gently swish the chamnamul 2-3 times to wash.
Shake off excess water, cut into bite-sized pieces, and drain in a colander.
Make the sauce with 4T gochugaru, 3T brewed soy sauce, 3T plum extract, 2T vinegar, and 1T minced garlic. Slice half an onion.
Gently toss the chamnamul and onion in the sauce, then finish by drizzling 1T sesame oil and sprinkling whole sesame seeds.
