Pat the pork belly dry with a paper towel and sprinkle with salt.
Heat avocado oil in a pan and sear the pork belly on both sides until golden, then remove.
In the same pan, add peeled garlic, ginger, honey, dark soy sauce, sherry vinegar, and crushed red pepper, and reduce by half. Stir in sesame oil to finish the sauce.
Plate the pork belly, pour over the sauce, and garnish with sliced green onion and furikake. Adding cheongyang chili peppers makes it even tastier.
