Clean the potatoes and soak them in water for 10 minutes
Place the potatoes in a pot with 0.5 tbsp salt and 800ml water, just enough to cover
Once boiling, cover with a lid and cook over medium-low heat for 30 minutes
While the potatoes are cooking, dissolve 1 tbsp sugar in 100ml water to make sugar water
Pierce with chopsticks to check doneness, then drain remaining water
Evenly drizzle the sugar water over the potatoes and roll them over low heat until glazed
