Split the anchovies and remove the innards
Poke holes in the wrinkled peppers with a fork
Heat cooking oil 1T in a pan and stir-fry the wrinkled peppers
Add soy sauce 4T and sugar 1T and stir-fry for 2 minutes
Add water 300ml, corn syrup 2T, mirin 1T, and minced garlic 1T and simmer once
Add the prepared anchovies and simmer until a little moisture remains
Reduce heat and add sesame oil 1T using the residual heat
