Clean the octopus, add 5T flour and 1T coarse salt, and scrub thoroughly, rinsing several times.
Pour soju into a pot, add the octopus, and once it starts to boil, stir and cook for 1 minute.
Quickly rinse the octopus in cold water and cut into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, combine 6T red pepper powder, 1T gochujang, 4T soy sauce, 4T corn syrup, 2T minced garlic, 2T mirim, 0.5T sugar, and black pepper to make the sauce.
Cut the onion, green onion, and cheongyang chili pepper into large pieces.
Heat 2T chili oil and 1T cooking oil in a pan, then add vegetables and stir-fry lightly for 1 minute.
Add the octopus and sauce and stir-fry on high heat for 2–3 minutes, then drizzle 1T sesame oil.
