Soak the pork in water for 10 minutes.
Add 1.5L water, 3T doenjang, 3T dark soy sauce, 1T whole black pepper, 1 onion, 5 whole garlic cloves, and 2 green onions to a pot and bring to a boil.
Once the seasoned water boils, add the pork belly and boil for 5 minutes.
Cover and simmer on medium-low heat for 40 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it steam for 10 minutes.
