Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak in cold water for 10 minutes to remove starch.
Drain the potatoes, coat with corn syrup 4T, place in a pan, cover, and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
Prepare the sauce: mix red pepper powder 2T, dark soy sauce 2T, tuna fish sauce 2T, mirin 2T, minced garlic 1T, cooking oil 1T, and water 200ml.
Add the sauce, wrinkly green chili peppers, and onion; cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes, then uncover and cook on medium heat for 5 more minutes.
