In a bowl, combine ground beef 600g, ground pork 200g, and sugar 1T, knead well, and rest for 10 or more minutes.
Finely chop the garae-tteok, shiitake mushrooms, and green onion.
Add brewed soy sauce 4T, corn syrup 2T, minced garlic 2T, sesame oil 2T, black pepper 1T, glutinous rice flour 2T, and ginger powder 0.5T to the meat mixture and knead again.
Add the shiitake mushrooms and green onion to the meat mixture and knead again.
Shape the mixture into tteok galbi patties.
Heat cooking oil 5T in a pan and grill the homemade tteok galbi on both sides until cooked through.
