Bring 1L of water to a boil in a pot, add the fernbrake and 1T of rice flour, and once boiling, cook for 20 minutes then rinse in cold water
Cut the cooked fernbrake into bite-sized pieces
Season the fernbrake with 3T of soup soy sauce and 1T of mirin
Heat 1T of cooking oil and 2T of perilla oil in a pan, add the fernbrake, and stir-fry until the sauce moisture evaporates
Add 200ml of water, cover with a lid, and steam-cook for 5 minutes
