Wash the tteokguk rice cakes and soak them in water.
Cut the fish cake into bite-sized pieces and slice the green onion lengthwise.
In a pan, add 600ml water, the coin broth cube, 2T gochujang, 1T red pepper powder, 2T soy sauce, 4T corn syrup, 1T sugar, and black pepper, then bring to a boil.
Once the sauce is boiling, add the tteokguk rice cakes and cook for 3 minutes.
Add the fish cake and green onion and cook for 3 more minutes to finish.
