Use a mandoline to thinly shred the radish, then add 1T salt and pickle for 20 minutes.
Thinly slice the whole garlic cloves and finely chop the Cheongyang peppers.
Once the radish is pickled, drain and squeeze out all the moisture.
In a bowl, mix the radish strips with 1T red pepper flakes.
Add squid jeotgal, sliced garlic, Cheongyang peppers, 1T plum extract, 1T sesame oil, and 3T sesame seeds; mix well and it's done.
