Cut the radish into flat rectangular slices and slice the green onion into rounds.
Briefly blanch the beef in boiling water for 10 seconds.
Add the radish and 1L water to the pot, bring to a boil, then simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes.
Add another 1L water, bring to a boil, then add the beef, 3T soup soy sauce, and 1/2T black pepper, skimming off the foam.
Add 1T minced garlic, sea salt, 1T sesame oil, and green onion, and simmer lightly to finish.
