Steps

  1. Cut tofu into thick, large pieces; dice zucchini and onion; slice cheongyang chili peppers diagonally; and slice green onion into rounds. Divide the green onion in half, one for stir-frying and one for garnish

  2. Add 2 tbsp perilla oil and 2 tbsp cooking oil to a pot, add half the green onion to make green onion oil, then add pork and stir-fry until the surface turns white

  3. Reduce to low heat, add 5 tbsp red pepper flakes, and stir-fry for 1 minute to make chili oil

  4. Pour in 600ml of water, increase to high heat, and add zucchini, onion, and minced garlic

  5. Add 1.5 tbsp fermented shrimp paste, 2 tbsp tuna sauce, and 0.5 tbsp sugar to season

  6. Place tofu on top, ladle broth over it, boil for at least 5 minutes, then add the remaining green onion, cheongyang chili peppers, and black pepper and boil 1 more minute to finish
