Pat beef dry with paper towels to remove blood.
Blend 1 onion, 1/4 Korean pear, and 1 cup water in a blender; rinse blender with 1 cup water and pour into a bowl.
In the bowl, combine blended mixture, 1 cup dark soy sauce, 2T brown sugar, 45ml mirin, 2T sesame oil to make the marinade.
Add beef to the marinade and marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat 1T cooking oil in a pan and cook beef with some marinade.
Sprinkle chopped green onions on top.
