Rinse the black soybeans clean, then soak in 800ml of water with 1T of salt in the refrigerator for 5–8 hours.
Place the soaked beans in a pot, add enough water to cover them, then add 1 piece of dried kelp and 1T olive oil. Once it starts boiling, cook for 10 minutes.
Remove the dried kelp, add 4T dark soy sauce, 2T corn syrup, and 2T mirin, and simmer while stirring.
Once nearly reduced, turn off the heat, let it cool slightly, then add sesame seeds.
