Wash the chicken with water and flour by kneading, then rinse again with clean water
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels
Cut the green onion into large pieces and sear with a kitchen torch, then mince the cheongyang chili peppers
In a bowl, combine 6T dark soy sauce, 1T sugar, 1T corn syrup, 2T mirin, 1T ginger powder, 1T minced garlic, 0.5T black pepper, and the minced chili peppers to make the marinade
Heat 5T cooking oil in a pan, add the chicken and green onion, cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes
Flip the chicken, cover again and cook for another 5 minutes
Pour in the marinade and reduce on high heat while stir-frying to finish
