Cut the fish cake into bite-sized pieces, remove stems from shishito peppers and wash; dice the onion into cubes
Mix 4 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp gochujang, 2 tbsp gochugaru, 2 tbsp mirin, 2 tbsp starch syrup, 1 tbsp minced garlic, and 200ml water to make the sauce
Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil in a pan, stir-fry the fish cake until golden brown, then add shishito peppers and onion and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes
Pour in the sauce and simmer to reduce
Turn off the heat while a little moisture remains, then drizzle with 1 tbsp sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds
