Cut the tofu into large rectangular chunks.
Lay the tofu on paper towels, sprinkle 2 pinches of fine salt, and let rest for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix gochujang 2T, dark soy sauce 2T, minced garlic 2T, corn syrup 4T, ketchup 5T, and red pepper flakes 2T to make the sauce.
Pour olive oil 5T into a pan; place the tofu in the cold pan and fry all 6 sides over medium heat until crispy.
When the tofu is evenly crisped, move it to one side; add the sauce, let it come to a brief boil, then toss with the tofu.
