Soak the dried squid strips in cold water for 5 minutes.
Remove the squid strips, squeeze out excess water, and drain in a colander for 5 minutes.
Heat a pan on low heat, add the squid strips with 5 tablespoons of mirin, and pan-dry until the moisture evaporates, then let cool.
Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, whole garlic, and cheongyang chili peppers to the pan and stir-fry for the first round.
Add gochujang 5 tbsp, dark soy sauce 1 tbsp, sugar 1 tbsp, plum extract 2 tbsp, corn syrup 3 tbsp, cooking oil 2 tbsp, and water 5 tbsp to make the sauce, then stir-fry.
Turn off the heat, add the pan-dried squid strips to the pan, toss well, then sprinkle sesame oil or sesame seeds.
