Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
Put potatoes in a pot, add corn syrup 7T and seasoned salt 0.5T, toss to combine, and marinate for 30 minutes.
Add water 100ml, dark soy sauce 7T, mirin 2T, minced garlic 1T, cooking oil 1T, bring to a boil, cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
Uncover and continue simmering while stirring until most of the moisture evaporates.
Turn off the heat and drizzle sesame oil 1T and sprinkle sesame seeds.
