Use 1 can of mackerel with its liquid, and drain the other can, using only the fish. (2 cans of mackerel, liquid from 1 can)
Prepare the radish, onion, green onion, and chili pepper.
Mix 1T gochujang, 2T gochugaru, 2T dark soy sauce, 1T minced garlic, 1T mirin, 2T plum extract, 0.5T black pepper, and 0.5T ginger to make the sauce.
In a pot, combine 2T cooking oil, radish, onion, 1 can's worth of canned liquid, 500ml water, and the sauce, then boil for 10 minutes.
Once the radish is cooked, add the mackerel, chili pepper, and green onion, spoon the sauce over, and reduce for 6-8 minutes.
