Remove the seed pod section and cut the garlic scapes into bite-sized pieces
Add salt 1T to water and bring to a boil, then blanch the garlic scapes for 30–40 seconds; blanch for 1 minute if you prefer a softer texture
After blanching, rinse quickly in cold water 2–3 times
Heat cooking oil 1T in a pan, add doenjang 2T, red pepper flakes 2T, dark soy sauce 1T, plum extract 2T, corn syrup 4T, water 3T and bring to a boil
Turn off heat, add the garlic scapes and stir-fry lightly
Add perilla oil 1T and sesame seeds, then toss well
