Cut green onion into long pieces and cut fish cake into bite-sized pieces
Toss the washed rice cakes with 0.5 tbsp dark soy sauce and 0.5 tbsp sesame oil and marinate for 10 minutes
Mix red pepper flakes, sugar, soy sauce, corn syrup, fish sauce, curry powder, dasida, gochujang, and black pepper to make the sauce
In a pot, add 600ml of water, the sauce, and the white part of the green onion and bring to a vigorous boil
Once the broth boils, add the marinated rice cakes and fish cake and simmer over medium heat until the broth thickens sufficiently
Add the green part of the green onion and boil 1 more minute to finish
