Lightly dampen the shredded dried pollack and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Slice the radish into thin rectangles (nabak-style).
Heat 2T perilla oil in a pot, add dried pollack and radish, and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Add only 500ml water and reduce until a milky white broth appears.
Add 1.5L water, skim off foam, cover, and boil on medium heat for 30 minutes.
Add rice and season with seasoned salt and black pepper to taste.
