Steps

  1. Place ground pork in a mixing bowl, add minced onion, carrot, and green onion, then add the sauce ingredients (potato starch, dark soy sauce, tuna sauce, cooking wine, ground pepper) and knead well.

  2. Add minced chives at the end and gently fold them in one more time.

  3. Place a spoonful of filling on a dumpling wrapper, spread it thinly, then place a whole shrimp on top.

  4. Fold once, then fold again — and it's sealed.

  5. To steam, cook for 10 minutes; to fry, cook until golden brown on all sides.
